David Bowie is one of my biggest influences both as a vocalist and a visionary. His artistry is unparalleled. An inventor with such unique gifts that found a way with every album to find a new voice and direction. If you listened to this show you know Bowie often graced the playlist. As musicians we owe so much to this man. There is no one song that I could play that could sum up his genius. Not one album from his first to last that didn’t display his vocal and lyrical prowess. For me “Space Oddity” seems like an appropriate start for this heavenly journey.
We have a new feature on Bombshell Radio. A weekly music chart and currently at the number one spot the late great Syd Barrett one of the founding members of Pink Floyd who would’ve turned 70 last week. I’ll be posting a chart this coming Friday and watching our social feeds. The chart mostly reflects music from the Addictions Inbox and another way for us to promote the songs that are getting such great feedback and deserve you’re attention. It’s been a great weekend on Bombshell Radio I caught a few waves with Jazzmatazz last show ,all surf music. Heard some amazing new artists on Unsigned Project. I can promise you some if not all will be added to the Addictions lineup. Tonight a lot of new entries from around the globe, a few favourites and as always a few surprises.
